About us
Your Roster was built by someone who has actually sat in the part after a job ends and before the next one starts — not a team that studied the job search from the outside.

Savanrith “Savan” Kong
Savan is an award-winning Product, Design & Customer Experience executive, and the first CXO at the Department of Defense. After being laid off, he founded War Room and Light-Lux and started writing openly about what actually happens in the space between titles.
Your Roster comes from the same place: a layoff makes it obvious that polishing your résumé and applying everywhere isn't how people actually get hired — the people who get in the room are the ones somebody already knows.
“Nobody wants to sit in the part where you don't yet know who you are without the title.”
That's also the thesis behind Life Between Titles, the media platform he founded and hosts across three shows exploring career transitions and identity. He's the author of Laid Off and Lost, out now, and is currently writing Halfway Light, a memoir on his family's survival of the Khmer Rouge genocide.
